On Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18, 2010, AAM held its biannual Investment Conference for clients and selected prospects at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center.

Guest speakers included Andrew Busch, BMO Capital Markets, a leading Wall Street economist; Peter Jachym, KBW, a prominent investment banker; VJ Dowling, Dowling & Partners, a highly regarded Property & Casualty industry analyst; Chris Anderson, Anderson Insights, a regulatory watchdog; and several AAM insurance investment specialists.

Of particular interest to the attendees were the Insurance Industry Panel, where industry peers discussed various insurance investment hot topics and the Property & Casualty and Life & Health breakout sessions, where topics specific to the respective lines of business were discussed.

In addition to the educational content, there were several opportunities during the conference for the attendees to network with each other, including while dining and mingling during a Chicago Cubs baseball game in the luxury suite of a Wrigleyville rooftop.

Following the conference, many commented that it was a very good conference and a few repeat attendees thought it was the best ever. AAM will use all post-conference feedback in planning the 2012 Investment Conference.AAM 2010 Investment Conference A Big Success – 06.23.10
